Fourth Annual Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive Exceeds Previous Years’ Donations

NATCHEZ, MS – Merit Health Natchez is spreading the love in the Miss-Lou Region. Our team collected more than 3,039 jars of peanut butter during our Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive to help stock the shelves at local food pantries and fight hunger in our community.

Thank You! With your help and the generous donations of our employees, we are donating these thousands of jars to our local food pantries – The River Assembly Feed the Hungry Pantry, St. Mary Basilica’s Staples Pantry, Natchez First Assembly of God Kings Kabinet Food Pantry, and Pilgrim Baptist Church Food Pantry.

We especially want to thank the Natchez Chamber of Commerce for their partnership, as well as all the businesses, schools, clubs, and individuals who helped us collect our largest donation to date. And, of course, to our employees, physicians and board members, thank you for embracing this collection drive each year and helping us spread the word to our community.

We’re proud to support the health of our community in everything we do, and hope that this drive will make a difference by addressing hunger in our area. Thanks again for your support!
