Angie Waller Joins Merit Health Medical Group Primary Care
NATCHEZ, MS – Angie Waller has joined the Merit Health Medical Group Primary Care Clinic. Angie is a board certified family nurse practitioner.
Angie is a summa cum laude graduate of Alcorn State University School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in nursing, having received both the BS Nursing Student of the Year and ASUs overall highest honor, Outstanding Graduate of the Year. As a critical care nurse with extensive ER experience, Angie earned her MSN in the family nurse practitioner program at ASU, where she graduated with a GPA of 4.0. She has 27 years’ experience in healthcare, the last 18 years as a nurse practitioner. She recently served our nation’s indigenous people including Lakota Sioux, Assinboine and Navajo Tribes through her work with Indian Health Services (IHS).
“We are pleased to welcome Angie to our primary care clinic, where she will be joining Dr. Jennifer Hebert and Brittany Gamberi, FNP-C,” said Kevin Samrow, CEO of Merit Health Natchez. “This dynamic trio of providers can treat your family for everything from minor firs aid to chronic disease management and preventive care. They are already receiving wonderful reviews from their patients, and we are happy to add Angie so those in our community looking for primary care providers can have access to this clinic.”
Angie’s office is located at Merit Health Medical Group Primary Care in the Doctors’ Pavilion, 46 Sgt. Prentiss Drive, Suite 201. Her practice will focus on health and wellness promotion, illness prevention and management of acute and chronic disease states.
“Our small town atmosphere allows my patients to become like a member of my family, seeing them at church, community events, and the grocery store,” said Angie. “I look forward to working with Dr. Hebert and Brittany and welcoming former patients as well as new patients.”
