Merit Health Medical Group Opens Purvis Clinic

Merit Health Medical Group welcomes Robert Watson, D.O., to the new primary care clinic in Purvis.
Dr. Watson joins Merit Health Medical Group after working across Mississippi in emergency medicine and family medicine, most recently serving as a family practice physician at Anazia Medical Clinic in McComb, Miss. and at Copiah Medical Associates in Hazlehurst, Miss.
Dr. Watson received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Mississippi and attended medical school at University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
Merit Health Medical Group offers specialized care for patients of all ages at the Primary Care location at 5808 U.S. Highway 11 in Purvis. The clinic specializes in family medicine, providing everything from first immunizations to specialized care plans designed for mature adulthood.
